Oil plays an important role in the cooling process. The Majestice® oil cooler radiator is used to cool the oil and hydraulic oil of the engine and automatic transmission. The oil cooler radiator receives the heat of the lubricant and exchanges heat with the surrounding air or radiator coolant.
Usually, racing engines need an oil cooler radiator to keep the oil "cold". Many components on the racing car are exposed to high temperatures and have a higher oil boiling point than water. Due to the higher boiling point, the oil does not evaporate as quickly as water, not only cooling the pistons of the engine, but also lubricating them at the same time. The constant oil pressure provided by the improved oil cooler radiator will not harden the engine seals. This in turn increases the service life of the engine.
