Features of finned tube heat exchanger

Main features of finned tube heat exchanger:

(1) The heat transfer effect is good. The boiling heat transfer coefficient of the T tube in R113 refrigerant is 1.6-3.3 times higher than that of the light tube.

⑵In the traditional bare tube heat exchanger, only when the temperature of the hot medium is 12°C-15°C higher than the boiling point or bubble point of the cold medium, the cold medium will bubble and boil. The T-shaped finned tube heat exchanger only needs a temperature difference of 2°C-4°C, and the cold medium can undergo fine, continuous, and rapid boiling bubbling, forming an advantage over bare tubes.
(3) The single-tube experiment using Freon 11 as the medium shows that the boiling heat supply coefficient of the finned tube heat exchanger can reach 10 times that of the light tube. The experimental results of small tube bundles with liquid ammonia as the medium show that the total heat transfer coefficient is 2.2 times. Industrial calibration of C3 and C4 hydrocarbon splitter reboilers shows that the overall heat transfer coefficient of finned tube heat exchanger is 50% higher than bare tube at low load and 99% higher than bare tube at high load.

(4) Cheaper than aluminum porous surface heat transfer tubes.

⑸ Due to the strong gas-liquid disturbance in the tunnel, the gas is ejected at high speed along the T-shaped slot, and the inside and outside of the T-shaped slot are not easy to scale, which ensures that the equipment can be used for a long time, and the heat transfer effect will not be affected by scaling.
3. Application of finned tube heat exchanger.
As long as the shell-side medium is clean and free of solid particles and colloids, the T-shaped finned tube can be used as a heat exchange element to form a T-shaped finned tube heat exchanger, thereby improving the shell-side boiling heat transfer effect.
